Adam Myers is a winner of  the Tony Womack ' I pop up every at bat ' award
Tim Goyette is also a winner of the Britney Spears ' I get around ' award for playing for pretty much every team
Zach Atherton is a winner of  the Randy Johnson ' weren't you supposed to be a lot better? ' award
Scott Suriano is a winner of the Mark Bellhorn ' I swing at everything even pitches outside the strike zone ' award
Andy Smith is a winner of the Rick Ankiel ' I have no control I throw wild pitches and walk everyone ' award
Ashley Luongo is a winner of  the Robinson Cano ' Wow you are really young, and actually pretty good at hitting and fielding ' award
Melissa Chamberlain is a winner of  the Brian Giles* ' I walk almost every single at bat and never swing at anything ' award
Jaimie Peek is a winner of  the Andruw Jones ' Where the heck did you get all that power from? ' award
Chris Suriano is a winner of  the Richard Simmons ' I can't helping being so homosexual ' award
Andy Rice is a winner of  the Barry Bonds ' I feel just a little sick today, so I think I'll miss the game and pretty much the entire season ' award

* Brian Giles leads the majors in walks, and he never swings so he is pretty much a huge tool

Time for some of the more serious awards. These awards will be given when the regular season is finished:

MVP 2005 Award winner Chris Hess
MVP Award: This award is given to the player who was the leagues most valuable player. The player must have displayed good sportsmenship, good skills with the ladies, and good looks. Chris Hess batting a .674 AVG, led the league in HRs with 16 and RBIs with 40. Chris also led the league in tossing 30.0 solid innings while striking out a league high 60 batters. Congrats Chris Hess, on winning the 2005 MVP award.

Rookie of the Year 2005 award winner Melissa Chamberlain
Rookie of the Year: This award is given to a player who is very new to the game of Wiffleball. Melissa led the league in walks, with an outstanding 32. Melissa had an alright batting average of .211, but her on base percentage of .706% is by far the reason why she wins this award. Maybe next year Melissa can get her batting average up, but congrats Melissa. May you never swing your bat, it wins you awards.

Cy Young 2005 award winner Chris Hess
Cy Young: This award is given to the player who was most dominating on the pitchers mound. Chris Hess threw an impressive 30.0 innings, with a respectable 7.00 ERA. Hess led the league in strikeouts with 60, and wins with 5.  Congrats Chris, on winning the 2005 Cy Young award.

Gold Glove 2005 award winner Chris Suriano
Gold Glove: The Gold Glove award is given to the player who executes extremely talent defensively. Chris Suriano led the league in most turned double plays. His dashing looks didn't win him this award on his own. Look for a repeat next year, as Chris hopefully improves his already unbelievable defensive skills. Congrats Suriano.

Silver Slugger 2005 award winner Andy Smith
Silver Slugger Award: The slugger award is given to the player who displays the most power at the plate. Andy Smith powered his way into the MVP votings this year. Andy only played a limited time, but put up numbers to compete with the rest of the league. Andy led the league in batting average with an unbelievable .704 avg, and had 7 HRs and 22 RBIs in just 27 at bats. Look for Andy to be a serious contender next year for the MVP. Congrats Andy.

Most Improved Player 2005 award winner Scott Suriano
Most Improved Player: The most improved player award is given to the player who has dramatically improved their gameplay through the year. Scott Suriano became a vital asset to the Cyclones playoff run, as he led the team in RBIs. Starting the season on a low note, Scott was batting .167 and looked lost at the plate. But Scott put that behind him, ending his season batting .500 with 5 HRs and a team high 32 RBIs. Not bad for the little Suriano. Congrats Scott.
