Rookie of the Year 2005 award winner
Melissa
Chamberlain
Rookie of the Year: This award is given to a player who is very new to the
game of Wiffleball. Melissa led the league in walks, with an outstanding 32. Melissa had an alright batting average of
.211, but her on base percentage of .706% is by far the reason why she wins this award. Maybe next year Melissa can get her
batting average up, but congrats Melissa. May you never swing your bat, it wins you awards.

Chris SurianoGold Glove: The Gold Glove

already unbelievable defensive skills. Congrats Suriano.

Andy SmithSilver Slugger Award: The slugger
award is given to the player who displays the most power at the plate. Andy Smith powered his way into the MVP votings this
year. Andy only played a limited time, but put up numbers to compete with the rest of the league. Andy led the league in batting
average with an unbelievable .704 avg, and had 7 HRs and 22 RBIs in just 27 at bats. Look for Andy to be a serious contender
next year for the MVP. Congrats Andy.
Most Improved Player 2005 award winner
Scott SurianoMost Improved Player: The most improved player award is given to the player who
has dramatically improved their gameplay through the year. Scott Suriano became a vital asset to the Cyclones playoff run,
as he led the team in RBIs. Starting the season on a low note, Scott was batting .167 and looked lost at the plate. But Scott
put that behind him, ending his season batting .500 with 5 HRs and a team high 32 RBIs. Not bad for the little Suriano. Congrats
Scott.
