Chris helped the
Doofus Shooters win the first HFWB league Championship, by defeating the Muckdogs on August 16th, in a pitchers duel 4-2.
Chris also went through the entire year undefeated, earning himself a 7-0 record. Hess also holds the second highest batting
average, the most HRs, the most RBIs and the most strikeouts recorded as a pitcher. Hess is also the
only player to have hit a HR on each side of the plate. Hess looks to continue his Hall of Fame career next year, as he attempts
to defend his HFWB title.
Besides helping the
Doofus Shooters win the first HFWB title, she lead the league in hits with 31. Ashley also could pitch, as she recorded her
first career W on 6/22/05, when she beat the Unknowns 3-1. Ashley was also a seriously contender for the MVP award. Ashley
has a .585 career batting average, the highest among all females in the league, and 5th highest in the whole league. Ashley
has been one of the more consistent lead off hitters in the league, one of the reasons why the Doofus Shooters went 8-0.
Chris Suriano
had to be by far the most insane wiffle ball player in the league. Chris got into everygame, and played each like it
was his last. Suriano owned the league's pitching staff posting an impressive .634 batting average, and showing a lot
of power by driving in runs. Chris can also play defense, as he lead the league in double plays. Chris
won the Gold Glove award and was also a top 5 finalist for the MVP award.
